Overview
The Data Bank is made up of thousands and thousands of Macro-Chips. The Macro-Chips store the data necessary to run a facility of this size. Without the Data Bank, the facility cannot function.
Macro-Chips
Macro-Chips are made of a flexible and delicate silicone, upon which connection nodes are mounted.
In the event of a chip being disconnected or damaged, basic data retrieval is possible by manually connecting the nodes. To achieve this, the chip is folded according to recovery instructions.
Trouble Shooting
If data retrieval is not possible, the cause is usually operator error. Folding instructions must be followed exactly, or the connection nodes will fail.
